Abstract: A hydrocele of the canal of Nuck is an uncommon developmental condition in females, caused by the partial failure of the processus vaginalis to close. It may present as an inguinal swelling, often misdiagnosed as an inguinal hernia or other groin pathologies due to its rarity and non-specific clinical features. We present the case of a 25-year-old female who came in with a painful inguinal swelling and was successfully treated through surgical excision. The diagnosis on histopathological examination confirmed Hydrocele of Canal of nuck. This case highlights the importance of considering this diagnosis in the differential for female groin swellings.
